Micro-Pathway in Health IT

Micro-Pathway in Health IT is a nationally funded program, created by Seattle Colleges to provide a training pathway that will take less than a year to complete and result in a job paying $43k or more in Healthcare IT. This program is designed to positively impact racial, economic and gender equity in the workforce. The targeted occupation will be as an Epic Associate 1 position, with opportunity to eventually provide a longer pathway to greater positions and education including a bachelor’s degree. HIMSS WA joins Seattle Children’s Hospital, as initial scholarship providers, to help promote this new program. The scholarship from HIMSS WA will be for $2,500 towards the tuition for one student in the upcoming school year.
